The Sentinel PRO system centralizes and streamlines 24/7 monitoring by seamlessly integrating with any equipment that uses a panel or SCADA system compatible with MODBUS RS485 & TCP IP. It can handle up to 64 inputs pulled from existing equipment and sensors and can accommodate an additional 12 digital or analog inputs.
The Sentinel PRO system alerts site workers via text, email or phone call to power failure and issues with various equipment such as soil vapor extraction systems and groundwater treatment equipment, leachate and landfill gas systems, VOC monitors, air sparge compressors, vacuum blowers, air strippers and generators.
In addition, the Sentinel PRO system continually logs sensor data. This helps operators detect unusual equipment trends early on, enabling them to act before the irregularities turn into major issues. The recorded data covers aspects like blower runtimes, pilot and flare temperatures, liquid or air flow totals, VOC levels, and shutdown and startup events.
Users can easily access real-time data, change settings, set alarms and respond to alerts using mobile devices, tablets, computers or the Sensphone app.
To ensure continuous monitoring, the Sentinel PRO system stays connected to the Sensaphone cloud. If this connection breaks — due to reasons such as a power outage or the unit being accidentally switched off — the system triggers an alert. Users are promptly informed about this disruption through phone, text or email.
Sensaphone offers both cellular and Ethernet versions of the Sentinel PRO system, and both are housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure for protection from dust, dirt and moisture.
