Easily Monitor Livestock Facility Conditions With the Remote Sentinel™ System

1st Feb 2024

ASTON, Pa., February 1, 2024 – Ensuring stable conditions is crucial for both livestock safety and the smooth operation of facilities. The Sensaphone Sentinel™ remote monitoring system allows operators to keep tabs on vital conditions such as temperature, humidity, airflow, soil moisture, carbon dioxide, water pH and power outages. If the system detects any sensor reading outside of the preset range, it promptly notifies designated personnel via phone call, text or email so they can act quickly to address the situation.

The cloud-based Sentinel monitoring system enables operators to access up-to-the-minute data around the clock from any location using a mobile device, computer or Sensaphone app. They can also access historical status data, adjust settings and deactivate alarms.

Because the Sentinel remote monitoring system offers unlimited data logging for recording critical conditions over time, operators can track trends that enable the early detection of equipment issues before they escalate into significant problems.Sensaphone offers both cellular and Ethernet models of the Sentinel system, each capable of monitoring up to 12 different status conditions. Housed within a NEMA 4X enclosure, the Sentinel unit is shielded from dust, dirt and moisture, making it

suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

The Sentinel system continuously transmits a signal to the Sensaphone cloud to verify its connectivity. Should a disruption occur, the system triggers an alert indicating a cellular communications issue or lost internet connection. It then notifies staff about the disruption via phone, text or email.
