Sentinel™ Remote Monitoring System Helps to Reduce Downtime of Critical Equipment

30th Nov 2023

ASTON, Pa., November 30, 2023 – Proactive monitoring of industrial and manufacturing environments is key topreventing equipment downtime. Sensaphone’s Sentinel™ remote monitoring system is designed to detect potential risks or problems early on, helping to safeguard equipment from malfunctioning.

The Sentinel system ensures continuous monitoring around the clock, tracking up to 12 different conditions that can affect equipment functionality such as temperature, humidity, power outages, excess vibration, air pressure, water leaks and unauthorized access.

Should any of these conditions fall outside predetermined safe limits, the Sentinel system alerts delegated staff through text, email or phone. In addition, this system continually logs sensor data, aiding facility operators in spotting unusual patterns or trends that may signal potential equipment failure.

Sentinel users can easily access real-time data, change settings, set alarms and acknowledge alerts via their mobile device, tablet, computer or Sensaphone app.

The Sentinel system maintains an uninterrupted connection to the Sensaphone cloud, ensuring it is always online. If the system stops communicating with the cloud server, users are immediately notified about the disruption via phone, text or email.

Sensaphone offers both cellular and Ethernet versions of the Sentinel system. It is housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure for protection from dust, dirt and moisture.
