Sentinelâ„¢ System Alerts to Critical Environmental Changes in Clean Rooms
ASTON, Pa., July 23, 2024 – The Sentinel™ system from Sensaphone supports manufacturing and research facilities that rely on controlled environments or clean rooms to maintain product integrity. This cloud-based system provides 24/7 remote monitoring for up to 12 different environmental and equipment conditions, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Used with sensors to monitor important clean room conditions such as airflow, differential pressure, vibration, temperature, humidity and power failure, the Sentinel system takes the burden out of managing controlled environments. When any sensor detects a condition outside the preset range, the system promptly alerts designated personnel via phone call, text or email, enabling quick corrective action.
Sentinel users can access real-time data anytime, anywhere via their mobile device or computer. Through the Sensaphone app, they can view status information, adjust settings, disable alarms and modify temperature limits.
The system continuously records vital environmental parameters, helping operators spot patterns that could signal potential equipment complications before they escalate into significant problems.
The Sentinel system continually sends signals to the Sensaphone cloud to confirm connectivity. In the event of a communication disruption, such as a power failure or an accidental shutdown, the system triggers an alert indicating a loss of internet or cellular connection. Users are promptly notified of this disruption via phone, text or email.
Sensaphone offers the Sentinel system in both cellular and Ethernet models. Encased in a NEMA 4X enclosure, the Sentinel device is safeguarded against elements like dust, dirt and moisture.
