Product Description
Buffer momentary temperature fluctuations
- Measures temperature from -121° to 176°F | -85° to 80°C
- Accurate to ± 1°F | ± .56°C
- Glass bead filled vial provides representation of temperature of freezers contents
- Helps to buffer any momentary fluctuations that may cause a preliminary alarm
- Includes 12’ of wire
- Suitable for use in wet or dirty environments
The Ultra Low Temperature Sensor in Glass Bead Vial can be used with all Sensaphone models to measure the temperature of objects in a freezer. By placing the sensor in a bottle filled with glass beads users will receive a reading that represents the temperature of the freezer’s contents rather than the ambient air temperature. The Sensaphone will trigger an alarm when the temperature falls outside of the programmed high or low temperature limit. The sensor’s coated wire prevents cracking and allows it to be placed inside of freezers that go as low as -85°C. The glass bead filled vial will also buffer any momentary fluctuations that may cause a preliminary alarm dial out, such as defrost cycles, opening of doors, and fans circulating air. The glass beads will slow the response time of the sensor allowing normal daily operations to occur without having an alarm. The included 12 feet of coated wire can be extended with optional accessory wire.
An optional NIST traceable certificate is available.
