Product Description
Easy temperature monitoring
- Measures temperature from 32° to 176°F | 0° to 80°C
- Accurate to ± 3°F
- External probe allows monitoring of refrigerator or dirty environments
- Requires RJ45 patch cable to connect sensor to Sensaphone
The IMS Temperature Sensor with External Probe is used exclusively with the Sensaphone IMS systems to measure and provide real time temperatures from 32° to 176°F or 0° to 80°C in difficult environments or in areas where a traditional sensor won’t fit. The temperature sensing probe is attached to the sensor by 12’ of wire which allows it to be placed inside a refrigerator or in a dirty or humid environment while still keeping the sensor’s circuitry clean. The system will go into alarm when the temperature falls outside of the programmed high or low limit. The sensor may be secured using double-sided tape (included) or with tie-wraps. The connection from the interface to the IMS system can use an existing CAT5 network wiring infrastructure, which powers the sensor and allows it to be installed in locations away from the IMS host device.
